Doctor Who Preview - Let’s Kill Hitler

With the press release explaining that the episode “Brings the Doctor face to face with the greatest war criminal in the universe. And Hitler” it was sure to be a full packed opener for the second part of series 6.

Moffat has told us that we are not allowed to say anything about the new episode, as it is in fact much more exciting to watch it for the first time, spoiler free! However we were allowed to mention a new companion… and a few old ones.

Overall the episode squeezes in as much detail as possible with a few of ‘those moments’. With the Doctor facing this ‘villain’ (mentioned in the press release) he must show his own power, but in a much different way that he usually does to save his friends. There will be times when you will laugh and there are times that may make you cry, but overall the episode is a great way to introduce you back into Doctor Who after the 3 month break. The structure and plot of the episode was great and the dialogue made sure all ages were able to understand the episode without confusion.

One thing I must say is that you HAVE to pay attention, and don’t run off to get a drink whilst watching it, otherwise the episode will make no sense at all!

As Steven Moffat rightly said that he wants no spoilers across the internet, which is a fair point! I would never post spoilers online as I understand the excitement of watching the episode for the first time. This means that I have very little to write about the episode without ruining it, so I will write quite a bit on what was said in the Question and Answer session which took place after the screening.
